DCL awards success continues


Having won the CIR 2018 ‘Insurer of the Year’ award, we are now delighted to announce that the DCL Claims team have WON the ‘Above & Beyond’ award at the 2018 UK Customer Service Excellence Awards. Further to this fantastic news DCL Claims have also been shortlisted as finalists in two further awards ceremonies.

The claims team, which took over dealing with claims from TCM Advisors in March 2017, has steadily grown in the past 12 months; from small beginnings of 7 staff to its current count of 32. Throughout this time regular success has been achieved in identifying and dismissing fraudulent claims as well as working far closer with our brokers and policyholders. By doing so we have been able to improve efficiencies and keep incurred spend to a minimum – all during a challenging period with legislation changes in the discount rate and claims inflation continuing to rise.

Winning the 2018 UK Customer Service Excellence Awards, being shortlisted for the Insurance Post Claims Awards 2018 and the Insurance Times Claims Excellence Awards is testament to the journey that the DCL Claims service has been on over the past 12 months.

DCL enjoyed significant growth in 2017 and is geared for further growth in 2018. The business has stayed true to its specialism in providing fleet and NCD rated CV policies over the years and is proud to be able to continue to write business in a sustainable way. Haul In One, our NCD rated product has recently been expanded to accommodate risks of up to 10 vehicles and Camatics Ltd, a new addition to the group, is now able to offer discounted insurance premiums where its own cameras are installed and used (correct use of the camera has the potential to secure an excess waiver.)
