Suki Basi

Suki is the managing and founder director of Russell Group since 1994. In this role he is responsible for setting company strategy, building core competencies and ensuring business development, as well as managing business growth and value. Suki has a BSc (Hons) in Aeronautics from Manchester University, and after graduating in 1986 held a post-graduate mathematical modelling research post at Nottingham University which was sponsored by Rolls-Royce until 1989. Suki lives in Nottingham, is married with three children and enjoys time with family and friends, playing sport and watching his beloved Nottingham Forest. Suki has had project experience in a variety of insurance and reinsurance lines namely, long-tail (asbestos, health hazard and pollution) reserving, aviation, space, offshore energy, marine hull and financial institutions and casualty.
