Newly established London Division announces plans to support local communities by providing grants, volunteer service and leadership in the UK.
Chair of the London Board of Directors and new Founding Members appointed to the Board
The recently established London Division of the Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation (IICF) announced its intent to allocate grants to UK-based charities that support social mobility, health and human services and disaster and humanitarian relief.
The announcement followed the London Division’s inaugural Board Meeting, which was held in London on 10th September. The Chair of its Board of Directors and two additional Founding Members were also approved at this meeting.
Sally-Anne Etienne, Market L&H Head for UK and Ireland at Swiss Re Europe, was approved as Chair of the London Board of Directors and commented:
“Our first board meeting attested to the dynamic and dedicated membership we have in place to achieve the ambitions and vision of the London Division of the IICF. I am excited about the future and for those organisations the foundation will be able to support across the UK through the fund raising and leadership initiatives we are planning.”
The two new Founding Members are Tim Yeates, Managing Director of Axco Insurance Information Services Ltd and Jeffrey Purdy, SVP of International Operations at Applied Systems. They join a distinguished list of organisations that actively support communities across the UK.

The Board agreed to hold three inaugural events over the coming year: a forum on Connected Leadership, an Annual Benefit Dinner and a conference on Diversity in Leadership across Generations.
