Stansted Express customers will now be able to purchase a Roam travel insurance policy prior to travelling abroad
This is the first partnership of its type for Thomas Cook Money and Greater Anglia
Roam is Thomas Cook Money’s core insurance product which aims to simplify the purchase of travel insurance and put the power back in the hands of the customer
Greater Anglia, operator of Stansted Express, together with Thomas Cook Money, the financial services division of Thomas Cook Group, have announced that they have entered into a partnership. The collaboration will enable Stansted Express customers to purchase travel insurance conveniently and seamlessly prior to travelling abroad.
Thomas Cook Money and Greater Anglia will be offering Stansted Express customers the option to be directed to the purchase journey through adverts on emails and digital-train tickets post-purchase, or directly through the website, increasing access and providing travellers with the cover they need.
By purchasing a Roam policy, Stansted Express customers will have access to digital medical screening, 24/7 emergency medical treatment and reassurance that any claim made will be responded to, and where possible, paid out within 24 hours.
Roam insurance policies will be underwritten by White Horse Insurance Ireland dac, Thomas Cook Money’s in-house insurance company.
