Towergate appoints Brian Hardwick as Chief Risk Officer

Towergate has announced the appointment of Brian Hardwick to the Executive Committee as Chief Risk Officer.*

Brian joins Towergate from Chubb where he had been Chief Risk Officer since 2007.

During his time in this role, Brian led all risk management and compliance across 11 countries in Europe.  He was also a board member of Chubb’s Lloyds MGA and has been responsible for the Solvency II implementation programme throughout the business.

Prior to Chubb, Brian spent 12 years consulting in various risk management and regulatory compliance roles within the UK financial services sector. He worked for Deloitte, and was later Risk Practice Leader of Grant Thornton. He has worked extensively within the general insurance sector, as well as working with banking and investment management clients.
