The Towergate Group is delighted to announce the *appointment of Sarah Dalgarno to the Towergate Executive Team as Chief Risk Officer (CRO). She will work alongside the existing members of the team and will add considerably to Towergate’s team of talented leaders.
Sarah has more than 25 years’ industry experience and joins the Group from Arthur J. Gallagher International, where she was Chief Risk Officer. Current Towergate CRO, Keith Jackson, had originally planned to depart Towergate in 2014 but agreed to stay to support the change of ownership. Keith will remain with Towergate until Sarah’s arrival to ensure a full and orderly handover.

Sarah joins Towergate from Arthur J. Gallagher, where she spent nine years, latterly as Chief Risk Officer, responsible for all regulatory, compliance risk management and governance matters of the UK regulated entities and international operations.
Prior to Arthur J. Gallagher, Sarah worked at the FSA where latterly she managed the team managing London Market Insurance Brokers and had earlier been a member of the Regulation of Insurance project, which was tasked with restructuring the way in which insurance companies were supervised.
Sarah started her insurance career straight from school, working in the claims department at the Prudential and Churchill Insurance Group. Prior to joining the FSA, Sarah spent six years working within the group risk function at BAE Systems. Sarah is a Chartered Insurance Practitioner.
