Miller launches new Private Client offering with key hires

Miller continues its growth ambitions with entry into the Private Client market with the hire of three High Net Worth specialists. Katie Small, Nick Gavin-Powell and Michelle Suckling will join Miller in Q2 2021 to form a new team dedicated to delivering a high-quality offering, supported by market-leading products and insight to provide a unique customer experience.

Having worked together previously, the team has extensive market knowledge and relationships within the sector and has helped clients from across the globe to manage their complex risks.

Katie has extensive experience in the sector having formed insurance brokerage MWA which was subsequently sold to RK Harrison in 2012. She was then Head of the combined RK Harrison Private Wealth and Hyperion Private Client, Fine Art and Specie business following the acquisition of RK Harrison by Hyperion in 2015. Katie will be Head of Millers new Private Clients team.

Nick has over 20 years in the sector and joins Miller from Aon where he was most recently Head of Private Clients. Prior to this, Nick was Divisional Director at Howden.

Michelle also has 20 years’ in the market with positions at RK Harrison in their Private Client team and more recently at Zurich.

The team will commence their roles at Miller following the completion of their contractual obligations at their respective employers.
