Mason Owen Financial Services Ltd has announced that a deal has been completed to acquire Business Insurance Services, a long-established insurance broking business situated on the Wirral.
The Mason Owen Group Chairman, Barry Owen, said “we are delighted that the Business Insurance Services team are joining the Mason Owen Group. We share an ethos in terms of how we look after our tremendously loyal clients, which can only bode well for our future together.”
This is the first acquisition made by the group in the insurance space and the founder and former joint owner of Business Insurance Services, John Hudson, said “we have been seeking the right partner for some time in order to take forward the tremendous foundations that we have within our business, whilst at the same time retain the independence and flexibility that we have that has served our clients so well over the years. We believe that Mason Owen Financial Services shared those views as they are reflected in the way that Mason Owen operate themselves.”
The acquisition follows the move of the insurance and property consultancy businesses from the long-time offices at Gladstone House to the new, more modern location at 20 Chapel Street, a flagship office building in the centre of Liverpool in sight of the Liver Building.
