The marketing of the MAPFRE Fund, Sanitary Commitment, which will provide 50 million euros for Madrid Health, has started this week, and in Spain, the company has increased its two main programs to protect clients, mainly self-employed and SMEs, and anticipate income for your suppliers. For the former, through automatic discounts on the renewal of their professional insurance for the weeks that the state of alarm lasts, as well as other facilities, the figure has grown to 60 million euros. For providers with greater ties to MAPFRE, which also have a very low activity due to the situation of confinement, the insurer is anticipating income for a value that now rises to 55 million euros.

The company has also dedicated significant amounts to support measures for its mediators, to expanding the services it offers to its clients through the MAPFRE teCuidamos [We take care of you] loyalty plan, such as home telephony or repair of electronic devices, and office disinfection, among others. In addition, it offers the video consultation and medical chat services of its digital health platform, Savia, free of charge to all users, whether or not they are clients of the company. They have so far served close to 50,000 clients for issues related to this pandemic.

Fundación MAPFRE, for its part, continues to massively distribute donated medical equipment worth close to 20 million euros for the acquisition of respirators, masks and other protective materials that are reaching nearly 30 countries, mainly in Latin America. This is in addition to 5 million euros for Covid-19 research and 10 million euros to protect employment and mental health.
