Bristol based Hayes Parsons Insurance Brokers are celebrating as the company joins an exclusive group of less than 200 insurance brokers nationwide in being awarded Chartered status by the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII).  Following a period of rapid growth, this award marks another milestone after several awards and nominations for the quality of its training and apprenticeship programme both locally and at a national level.

Chartered status is an exclusive title only awarded to firms which meet rigorous criteria relating to professionalism and capability.  All Chartered Insurance Brokers commit to the CII’s Code of Ethics, reinforcing the highest standards of professional practice in their business dealings.

Following the management buy-out of the 50 year-old firm in 2015, Managing Director James Woollam is hoping becoming Chartered will help the company with their ambitious growth plans over the coming years.

James said, “Achieving Chartered status has been an ambition of ours for some time, and I am delighted that the CII has recognised our commitment to professionalism and excellent customer service in this manner.  This has been a real team effort and I am proud how everyone has worked so hard to achieve this goal.  Being Chartered really stands us apart from the competition and our clients can be assured that they are dealing with some of the best trained and most client focussed individuals within the insurance industry.  Our plans for 2018 are really exciting and there will be more positive news to follow in the coming months!”
