Gallagher has announced that Matthew Haine has joined its Specialty division as managing partner of its property practice.
Matthew has 35 years’ experience in broking, and joins the business from Guy Carpenter where he was senior vice president in its FAC division. Prior to this Matthew held senior roles at Benfield and AON.
In his new role, Matthew will support clients in the Asia Pacific and South Africa regions putting together risk management programmes via the London Market, Europe and Bermuda. He will head up a team of six property specialists, and report to Property & Casualty managing partner, Malcolm Payton.
