Gallagher has appointed Elaine Lennox as Regional Managing Director for the Midlands.
Elaine joined Gallagher in 2018 as Managing Director of its leisure practice, which specialises in holiday & home parks insurance. Elaine has extensive experience in business development and strategy and prior to joining Gallagher she held senior level roles at Zurich, Thistle and JLT.
As Regional Managing Director for the Midlands, Elaine will head up Gallagher’s regional offices in Birmingham, Coventry and Leicester and will work with the local office leads to deliver insurance and risk management services to clients in the region. Elaine’s responsibilities will also include Gallagher’s charity practice, which operates from Birmingham, with further teams based in London, and supports a wide range of charitable organisations across the UK. She will report to Peter Matthews, Managing Director of the North in Gallagher’s UK & Ireland Retail division.
Elaine said: “Having worked closely with the team in the Midlands at Gallagher for five years, I am really excited about this new opportunity. Gallagher has a sizeable presence in the region, both in terms of our team, which is 250 risk professionals strong, and our client portfolio. I am looking forward to expanding our current operations and product offerings to further build on the success we have achieved to date.”
