Leading student and young professional insurance provider Endsleigh is reshaping its business as it targets further growth across its core markets.
A revised structure sees the creation of three new externally-facing functions at its Cheltenham HQ. New senior appointments are being made to lead each area to help Endsleigh capitalise on its already strong market presence and set a clear path to grow. These functions are as follows, and will be bolstered behind the scenes by support functions including Finance, Compliance, HR, Claims:
- Insurer Trading. Ben Hosford re-joins Endsleigh (as Head of Insurer Trading) from Legal & General where he was Head of Broker Distribution. Ben and his team will develop, manage and review Insurer Partnerships and ensure Endsleigh has the right degree of market visibility.
- Commercial (B2B) - Led by recently appointed Paul Scott (as Head of B2B) who joined in March from Bluefin, Paul and team will enhance Endsleigh’s footprint on the B2B side of the business including refining propositions for landlords, the not for profit sector, sport and leisure trusts, travel agents and life.
- Consumer (B2C) - The business is currently recruiting for someone to lead its B2C propositions ensuring that the shape of Endsleigh’s products and services match the evolving needs of the various retail customer segments Endsleigh serves.
Commenting on these changes, Endsleigh Managing Director Jeff Brinley said:
“We’re at a really interesting time in the development of this business – customer expectations are changing on the one hand, and the way we transact with our panel insurers needs to evolve on the other.
“Our organisation’s design needs not only to be right for today, but for the future as well so positioning everything around three market-facing functions is the right approach for us to take. We’ve now got dedicated consumer and commercial teams facing our customers, and an insurer trading team to look the other way and make sure our propositions are underpinned by the right panel, and at the right prices to remain competitive.
“Appointing the Head of Consumer will be last piece of the puzzle and I look forward to announcing that in due course – but for now I’m thrilled to have Paul on board, and Ben back again to drive the business growth I know we can achieve.”
