Claire King joins ICSR as Head of Risk

ICSR is delighted to announce the appointment of Claire King as Head of Risk with effect from 3 January 2023.

Claire has over 20 years’ experience of working in the London Insurance market, developing and implementing risk frameworks for a variety of firms including Amlin, Hardy and Tokio Marine HCC.

Claire will be responsible for leading all aspects of our Risk Advisory work with clients, personally overseeing the larger and more complex briefs alongside responsibility for the work carried out by ICSR’s team of risk specialists across our business, now with over 300 years collective risk experience working within insurance firms.

Claire’s background has included significant experience creating, embedding and maturing all aspects of Enterprise Risk Management, including the ORSA process and associated reporting, stress and scenario testing and oversight of the production of the Internal Model validation report. She has been heavily involved in ensuring Solvency II Tests and Standards have been met for Company and Lloyd’s market business and has worked closely with Board members to this end. She has sat as a member on the IUA Climate Risk Committee and the ClimateWise Climate Change Committee.
