Chris Haggart, Commercial Director Retail at Global Risk Partners (GRP) has been appointed CEO of Hedron Network, subject to regulatory approval.
He will take over the role from David Hopwood, who will remain a key member of the Hedron leadership team.
Haggart will join the Hedron team early in the new year, reporting to GRP CEO Mike Bruce.
Mike Bruce said, “Chris is a hugely talented executive and is ideally suited to take on this senior role. He has plenty of commercial nous, experience helping to build our Retail Broking business and good working relationships with GRP’s insurer partners – an ideal grounding to lead the further development of the Hedron proposition. It is testament to the strength in depth of the GRP team that we are able to promote from within for this crucial role.”

Chris joined GRP in 2018 as Commercial Director - Retail. In 2020 he took on additional responsibilities including ownership of GRP’s digital proposition, performance optimisation and led a number of specific organic growth initiatives. Prior to GRP, Chris worked at Zurich.
