Aon seeking to recruiting further business partners for UK SME business

Aon Risk Solutions is seeking to expand its SME broker distribution channel through an increase in Aon Appointed Representatives for its Aon Affinity division.

Aon is inviting entrepreneurs to partner with Aon to support SME businesses across the UK as part of its strategic approach to growing its SME business offering in the UK. Aon’s proposition includes broad-based coverage as well as specialist sector coverage such as education, care, HNW, pensions and health and benefits, working closely with insurer markets to offer competitive deals to SME businesses.

Chris Lee Smith, Managing Director, Aon Affinity, said “2015 was a successful year for Aon in the SME marketplace. As a result we are looking to grow this sector further in 2016 and beyond. Many independent and specialist insurance professionals often seek to expand their own business but need support in broader product offerings and risk propositions. By partnering with Aon they can do so in the knowledge that they have the support and backing of a global organization with a market-leading suite of products.”

Steve Ellis, an Aon Appointed Representative, said “Aon provided excellent practical advice as well as a broad range of excellent solutions which helped my business to grow. They offer continuous back office support, as well as developing new markets and products which strengthens my company. Becoming an Aon Appointed Representative has enabled my company to grow as well as to support clients across the SME sector.”

Aon Affinity offers access to Aon’s extensive network of resources and longstanding relationships with the industry’s top-rated insurers enabling Aon to match individual SME business needs with expert underwriters who provide high quality placement in terms of coverage, conditions and pricing.
