AllClear Travel Insurance has announces it has acquired InsureandGo from the global insurance company MAPFRE Asistencia - a move that will more than double the size of AllClear in the UK travel insurance market.

AllClear’s mission is centred on enabling individuals to obtain specialist travel insurance whatever their age or medical condition.  The acquisition of InsureandGo will broaden and diversify the customer base of AllClear’s brands, whilst allowing InsureandGo customers to benefit from AllClear’s market-leading customer service, technology and expertise in managing risk for medical and health conditions – issues that will become even more important for travellers in the post-Covid travel market.

InsureandGo will join AllClear Gold, Tailor Made, Breeze and Black Travel Insurance as part of AllClear’s portfolio of UK brands. This deal marks a significant development for AllClear, backed by continued strong support from its growth investor, Synova.

As the travel insurance sector gears up for autumn and winter travellers, AllClear will make a further announcement on the acquisition in the weeks ahead - sharing details on how the new brands will work together to build a new, dynamic force in UK travel insurance.
