Leading motor insurance provider Aioi Nissay Dowa Europe (AND-E) is creating more than 150 new jobs in Newcastle to support its growing relationship with Toyota Insurance Services. The new roles are part of an on-going expansion of AND-E’s North Tyneside operating hub and will create a range of opportunities in leading edge customer services, claims management and specialist support functions for customers of Toyota and Lexus insurance products.
The expansion follows a decision by Toyota Insurance Services, a subsidiary of AND-E, to bring all telephone-based service and sales support for its UK business in-house to AND-E’s centre of excellence.

AND-E, a division of MS&AD, Asia’s largest insurer, supports many well-known and trusted brands. In addition to Toyota Insurance Services and Lexus Insurance Services, these include Insurethebox and Tesco Bank Box Insurance. The company has been growing its investment in the North-East since acquiring Insurethebox in 2015. Based at its modern hub at Quorum, Longbenton, it directly employs around 400 people. A further 200 colleagues are located at its London head office and in Epsom, Surrey.
