Helping the children of Ukraine

Ukraine-flag

None of us in the insurance community will have been watching the telly over the last few days and not been deeply moved by the harrowing sounds and images coming out of Ukraine.

I for one know that I’ve run out of superlatives to describe the horror that the Ukrainian people, ordinary people like you and me, are having to endure.

At the same time, I am reminded that the greatest thing about this insurance industry of ours, is the tireless work that the dedicated people it employs do to make sure that those unfortunate enough to suffer a personal/business trauma, are helped to get back on their feet quickly.

Unfortunately, in a conflict such as the one taking place in Ukraine, insurance is not the answer.

There will be no insurance cavalry on the horizon to offer help and support to the ever-growing number of refugees, many of whom are children.

With this mind, the directors of youTalk-insurance have agreed to make a donation of £1,000 to UNICEF who have a specific appeal running aimed protecting the children of Ukraine.
