The son of Jamaican immigrants who came to the UK in the 1950s, Sir Lenny Henry OBE believed he had only two routes to escape working class Dudley in the West Midlands: sport or entertainment. He chose the latter – and in doing so became a household name in the UK and central figure in the country’s arts and media for over 40 years.

In a funny and passionate presentation to Liberty Specialty Markets, Sir Lenny talked about his campaign for greater diversity and inclusion in the arts, his pride in Comic Relief’s work and why he believes that diversity of thought is critical for the success of British business.
