Each year, we write more than £100 million of premium under delegated writing authority from several of the most well-known A rated insurers, and we have been doing so for more than 20 years.
Here at Q Underwriting, we are a robust and reliable high-quality partner for both insurers and brokers alike. We hold multi-year deals with our capacity providers because we deliver excellent long-term results time after time.
In 2019 we formed our Managing General Underwriter team, reflecting our dedication and loyalty to our insurer partners. The unit was created to develop and improve binder management and delegated authority capacity with a data-driven approach to underwriting and portfolio management.
We are always looking to build meaningful, long-term relationships with the best insurers in the business, and have a proven track-record when it comes to maintaining those all-important alliances.

A Flourishing Success
We are Q Underwriting – a specialist MGA delivering niche commercial lines products across Casualty & Construction, Property & Package and Motor. We have more than 30 products which includes construction, tradesmen and liability; charities, faith and recruitment; public and private hire, fleet and motor trade; and non-standard property. All of these have been developed in-house, underwritten by our experienced team and are available to our brokers through one common TOBA.
