How Aviva is improving Minifleet for you and your clients

Back in November 2020, we launched Single Vehicle Capability on our Minifleet product on Fast Trade to meet evolving business needs. This was a real step-change in our Fleet offering and allows you to provide your clients with a flexible solution for 1 to 12 vehicles, all on one product.

This increased capability, coupled with improvements like enabling driving options at vehicle level, ensured we continued to deliver a market leading Minifleet proposition.

Change inspired by you

As part of the Single Vehicle delivery, we also implemented NCD rating for policies up to two vehicles, along with a ‘named driver over 21’ driving restriction. While the NCD option has been welcomed, you told us that there’s still a need for a fleet rated solution that offers ‘any driver’ options.

We’ve listened to your feedback, and taken swift action to re-introduce the fleet rated, any driver option for two vehicle risks, while also retaining the NCD rated option. This means you now have the choice to provide your client with the best possible solution for their individual needs.

How will it work?

This is a seamless step in the existing Minifleet quote journey on Fast Trade. When selecting how many vehicles you want to insure on the policy, you’ll have the option to choose how the risk is rated:

For NCD rated, select ‘Up to 2 vehicles (NCD rated)’ which will continue to be on a named driver over 21 basis.

For Fleet rated, select ‘2 or more vehicles (claims experience rated)’ and then simply select the any driver option required.

This change is effective from 12 April 2021 for new business, including any existing quotes that you have not taken up.
