As proud members of the Managing General Agents’ Association (MGAA), we were pleased to take part in their first ‘Meet the Market’ regional event of the year.
Following a successful event in Bristol in 2019, the country’s leading MGAs went to Leeds for this instalment – an opportunity to meet and catch-up with local brokers and to hear from the MGAA on their work.
With our construction and property teams, plus our MGU based in Leeds, Q Underwriting is already well represented in the local market. Mike Hudson, Head of Development, attended from Q Underwriting and was joined by Daniel Storr, Underwriting Manager (Construction), Ian Thompson and Andrew Oddy, both senior underwriters from the construction team.
Our Leeds-based underwriters have established long-standing relationships in the local market and enjoyed catching up with old friends, contacts and colleagues.
The event was a great success for Q Underwriting, with numerous conversations about our new portal, Qtrade, which we demonstrated to attending brokers on the stand and set up new users.
