As cost of living soars The Insurance Charities calls for industry to come together

The Insurance Charities is calling for insurance employees to lend their support to its annual awareness-raising campaign taking place between 20 and 24 June 2022.
The week will focus on encouraging the insurance community to spread the word about the practical and financial support available to current and former insurance colleagues facing challenging circumstances. In the last financial year alone, the organisation awarded over £612,000 to support those struggling financially within our industry.
Insurance Charities Honorary President and Chief Executive Officer at ARAG Legal Protection Adrienne O’Sullivan said:
“We are the only charity in the UK and Ireland solely supporting those working across the whole insurance sector and have done so for over 120 years. We can help transform insurance people’s lives for the better and provide a lifeline to support them with whatever difficulties they and their families are experiencing. Without people coming together to raise awareness, we couldn’t support as many colleagues as we do. After a difficult few years, and the cost of living rising sharply, our help may be needed more than ever.”
For anyone in the industry wanting to support the campaign they can find out more and download a free Supporter Toolkit packed with resources to help them and their employer get involved from the Charity’s Campaign Page.
