RSA strengthens Global Network team

RSA Insurance has announced (14 November 2023) that it has made two hires in its Global Network team, with the appointments of Melissa Rayner and Christian Garcia as Global Network Relationship Managers.

In their new roles, Melissa will manage the relationships with our Global Network Partners in Africa and Middle East, and Christian will manage the relationships with our Global Network Partners in Latin America.

Melissa is based in London and joined the business in October. Christian will be based in London and starts his new role in January. Both report into Francesco Fordred, Strategic Relationship Manager at RSA Insurance.

RSA’s Global Network provides multinational customers with local expertise and service through a combination of owned operations and network partners, operating in 150 territories globally. The Global Network is part of Intact’s Global Specialty Lines business.

Melissa started her career at International Financial Data Services before joining law firm, CMS Cameron McKenna. She then went to join QBE Insurance, where she started her insurance career. At QBE, she worked in the unit looking after multinational cases. She spent just over nine years at QBE, with her most recent role as Senior Multinational Case Handler.

Christian is an EU Qualified Solicitor who specialises in immigration. Prior to becoming a solicitor, he had spells at BNP Paribas and Tik Tok. In 2020, he joined the London office of Spanish law firm, Alberto Perez Cedillo, where he qualified. After qualifying, he joined Deloitte Legal. He held several roles at Deloitte, most recently as Manager.
