RSA names UK Profin Director and appoints 9 new Trading Underwriters
RSA is pleased to announce the appointment of several key roles within its regions business, part of RSA’s UK commercial lines. The hires, a UK Profin Director and nine new Trading Underwriters, are joining as we continue to invest in key areas to ensure that we can support the continued and controlled growth of this part of the business.
Joanne Darkins, formerly Change and Strategy Director at RSA, has been named as UK Profin Director. This is a newly created role and has been developed to build on our current capabilities, ensure our expertise is aligned and deployed in the right way and is fit to capitalise on the market opportunity. Joanne has worked at RSA for over 20 years in various underwriting & operational leadership roles prior to the last 10 years in change and will report into Lee Mooney, Managing Director, regions, RSA.
The nine new Trading Underwriters who, will be based throughout the UK (Birmingham, Glasgow, Horsham, London and Manchester), are:
- Joseph Carwardine – Trading Underwriter - Construction, Engineering & Renewable Energy in Birmingham
- Christopher Dunn - Senior Trading Underwriter - Profin in Birmingham
- Michael Harvey, as Trading Underwriter – ProFin in Birmingham
- Laura Mallett, as Trading Underwriter - Property, Liability & Packages in Horsham
- Pamela Meikle, Trading Underwriter - Property, Liability & Packages in Glasgow
- Taylor Montgomery – Trading Underwriter - Profin in Glasgow
- Andy Russell, Trading Underwriter - Fleet in Manchester
- Leanne Sanders, Trading Underwriter - Construction, Engineering & Renewable Energy in Manchester
- Lewis Smith, Senior Trading Underwriter - Property, Liability & Packages in London
