The British Insurance Brokers’ Association (BIBA) is pleased to welcome QBE as a partner.

QBE is an international business insurer with operations in all of the key insurance markets. With a firm agenda to grow its business in the UK, QBE operates through eight regional offices, where empowered underwriters bring all of its product lines to local markets.

Graeme Trudgill, BIBA CEO said: “QBE is a leading global insurer with an established footprint and track record in the UK. It has become an important partner to regional brokers and I very much welcome them into the BIBA family. Our broker members are keen to access their technical expertise and I am sure our members will find the wide range of products offered by QBE of great interest.”

Andy Fitzgerald, Director UK Regions for QBE European Operations said: “This year, we have focused on increasing our broker support with the appointment of Heads of Trading in our regional offices. As a result, we have materially grown our regional business during the last 18 months. We’ve been clear that growing our business in the UK is a priority, and we are delighted with the progress we are making.  Partnering with BIBA is the next logical step on that journey, and we look forward to supporting even more BIBA members through this partnership.”
