New Q Underwriting Property Owners solution Q Protect goes live

We are very excited that our new Property Owners solution is live. The product is underwritten by Q Protect, our specialist Property & Package underwriting team, and is backed by A rated capacity in ERGO UK Speciality, a Munich Re company.
Q Protect Property Owners is designed for larger Commercial, Residential and Unoccupied risks, generally with premiums over £1000, which can demonstrate good housekeeping and management.
With an underwriter-led approach to each and every risk, there is some appetite for higher hazard business from supportive brokers including unoccupied, takeaways, food, textile and wood manufacturing risks; hotels (rural and timber-floored), student and other non-standard let-types.
Q Protect is led by Q Underwriting’s Head of Underwriting Operations for Property & Package, Duncan Scott, and Operations Manager Joanne Holroyd. And the underwriting team features Teresa Cooke and David Bustillo as lead underwriters and they are supported by an empowered and dedicated team.
