How Q Underwriting is supporting brokers through Covid-19
The world looks a lot different now compared to three weeks ago but we’re still here for our brokers in the way we always have been. With uncertainty from policyholders and concern for their clients from brokers, it’s our job to make sure we’re communicating effectively. Over the last week we’ve been working hard to ensure we are providing support to our partner brokers during this extraordinary time period.
We began by creating support content to help our brokers transition into remote working. The content includes helpful infographics and collaborative articles which cover topics like mental health, managing remote workers and keeping collaboration alive remotely.
We’ve launched a new Coronavirus microsite which houses these pieces (which can also be used by brokers for their clients), as well as important underwriting updates from across our brand and an FAQs section, where we answer questions we receive regularly from our brokers.
Recognising the importance of keeping things light during this challenging time, we’ve put together a collaborative Spotify playlist which brokers and staff can add their favourite, most motivational songs to. Exercising is important, so we’ve also created a Strava running club, racking up a total of more than 200 kilometres in our first week! We also have a wordsearch which refreshes often, for some light, lunchtime entertainment, with more planned for the coming weeks
A new style of Broker Bulletin is sent out three mornings a week with important operational and underwriting updates, news, support resources and activities which help our broker partners keep up to date with the latest changes and support them in navigating this ‘new normal’.
