NIG awards the Broker Network Commercial Lines Broker of the Year

Congratulations to FR Ball an independent insurance broker based in Abergavenny, which has been finding insurance solutions for personal and commercial clients for over 50 years.
The Commercial Lines Broker of the Year award recognises brokers who have gone above and beyond in what they achieved last year. The judging was tougher than ever as all brokers have shown such huge resilience.
David Enoch, NIG’s Head of Strategic Broker Relationships, Marketing and Propositions was thrilled to present the award to FR Ball’s Managing Director Paul Wadsworth in recognition of all the hard work and commitment shown by the whole team.
Jaime Swindle, Managing Director at Bravo Networks said “This business has grown despite the challenges of lockdown, with Revenue on Premium Income up by 12%; and they’re currently sitting at £5.5m GWP, which is up £500k on last year. They have their sights set high for the future and are looking to recruit more like-minded staff and move the goalposts towards the £18m mark.”
David added, “It was great to get out and meet one of our brokers to present the award and hear about their plans for the future. What a fantastic achievement and we look forward to NIG helping Paul and his team achieve their goals.”
