The MGAA is very excited to be hosting its flagship annual conference at Old Billingsgate, London on the 6th of July 2023.

With a “Community in Action” theme, this is one of the key reasons everyone within and connected to the MGA community should ensure they attend.

The MGA community continues to go from strength to strength wherever you sit in the value chain, from customers being placed with MGAs via their brokers, MGAs offering specialist products and unrivalled service to Insurers who recognise the value in deploying capital to expert underwriters. This, of course, is complimented by claim experts and suppliers to the community whose product and services are vital to the success of the MGA eco-system.

Representatives from all these vital stakeholder groups will be attending the conference therefore providing an ideal opportunity to share ideas, explore opportunities, discover new products and services as well as meet new industry colleagues.

This networking is complimented with an excellent program for the day including, esteemed keynote speaker, expert panels covering market conditions, why brokers use MGAs and how we can deliver for customers in the face of increased fraud and economic uncertainty.

Finally, we have a surprise guest speaker followed by our traditional awards ceremony………..frankly there is no other place to be on the 6th of July 2023!

Look forward to seeing you there

About MGAA

The Managing General Agents' Association is a not-for-profit trade association representing true MGAs. Our aim is to represent and support the UK MGA market.  We work within the professional framework of the Chartered Insurance Institute and our members sign the MGAA Code of ethics.

Managing General Agents (MGAs) are an important, established and fast-growing sector of the UK insurance industry.

Over 300 MGAs currently underwrite over 10% of the UK’s £47 billion general insurance market premiums.

MGAs deserve specific representation to lobby on their behalf, communicate their considerable benefits and drive best practice.

The Managing General Agents’ Association (MGAA) was formed in 2011 to fulfil this role.

The total number of full MGA members now stands at 101, which collectively represent over £3.5bn of underwriting capacity.
