Aviva wins ‘General Insurer of the Year’ for 10th year running

Congratulations to all the businesses, teams and individuals who were recognised at the 2023 Insurance Times Awards which took place in London last night (6 December 2023).

Aviva teams from across the UK were humbled to pick up 10 awards, including the coveted 'General Insurer of the Year award’ for the 10th year running. Voted for by brokers, this award represents the important partnerships we’ve built with you and your businesses over many years. Thank you for your continued vote of confidence and putting your business and clients' trust in us.

Reflecting on the award, Dave Martin shared,

• Excellence in Risk Management - Gold award winner
• Excellence in Underwriting  - Gold award winner
• Challenger of the Year in partnership with DWF Law LLP – Gold award winner
• Excellence in e Trading – Silver award winner
• Insurer Innovation of the Year – Silver award winner
• Excellence in Professional Development – Bronze award
• Sustainability Initiative of the Year – Bronze award

Aviva’s Group CEO, Amanda Blanc was also awarded the ‘Insurance Times Industry Achiever’ award.

A special shout out to Hayes Parsons Insurance Brokers who deservedly picked up the Gold award for 'Independent Broker of the Year' on the night. The judges praised the Hayes Parsons team for demonstrating excellence at every level for their people, customers and community and were particularly impressed by their in-house employee development initiatives, acquisitions and growth, as well as NPS scores they achieved. The silver award went to Romero Insurance Brokers and the bronze award to Clarke Williams Ltd Insurance Brokers.
