Q Underwriting awarded 5-Star MGA 2022 accolade
We are excited to have been awarded a 5-Star MGA declaration by Insurance Business UK following the results of their recent 2022 broker survey.
This signifies our commitment to providing an exceptional service to our brokers, who are a crucial part of our business, and we are grateful to have been supported by them in this survey.
The survey asked brokers to rate the performance of their MGA partners on a scale of 1 (poor) to 5 (excellent) in the following areas: overall responsiveness, technical expertise and product knowledge, pricing, ability to place niche or emerging risks, range of products, reputation, marketing support, compensation, technology/automation and geographical reach.
The report by Insurance Business UK recognised Q Underwriting for our pricing, technical expertise and product knowledge, where we scored particularly highly, as well as our ability to place niche and emerging risks and our overall responsiveness, scoring us first out of 33 MGAs in these two categories.
In their report, Insurance Business UK also highlighted the fact that the MGA market in the UK is thriving, praising MGAs for responding to brokers’ needs and providing an important source of capacity for niche risks during times of limited appetite in the wider market.
