NMU are proud to announce our support for Mind as our first official charity partner in 2020.
Mind provide advice and support to empower anyone experiencing a mental health problem. They campaign to improve services, raise awareness and promote understanding.
Maria Khosla, Community Fundraising Manager at Mind, said: “We are thrilled that NMU has chosen Mind as their charity of the year. The money raised will help ensure the continuation of our services, such as the Infoline, Legal line and the campaigning we do to ensure that the one in four of us who experience a mental health problem every year get a better deal.”
David Perfect, CEO for NMU added “We are delighted to be supporting such an important charity. The partnership will support our commitment to improve mental wellbeing for our colleagues and in turn, we shall support Mind by engaging colleagues and clients in a range of fundraising activities.

In addition to raising funds for an important charity, we hope that our partnership with Mind will help beat the stigma attached to discussing mental health, and increase staff wellbeing.
