Following the acquisition of our broker led commercial business by RSA, part of the Intact group, we are delighted to announce that as of 1st May 2024 NIG and FarmWeb will become part of RSA and the Intact Group.

In order for us to continue providing you and your customers with a seamless service, we are arranging for the customer data that we hold to be transferred from UKI’s ownership to RSA. This is necessary to allow us to continue servicing your customers’ needs and to provide you and your customers with renewal quotations.

We will also transfer your customers’ payment information so that renewal payments can be processed easily should your customer accept our renewal quotes.

Customers who are sole traders or unincorporated businesses have the right (under data protection legislation) to opt out of the proposed transfer. Should you receive instructions from your client to opt out, please contact us by 12 April 2024 at nig.ci@directlinegroup.co.uk with a copy of your customer’s request to opt out.

Please be aware that if your customer chooses to opt out, we will be unable to provide you with a renewal quote and their cover with us will come to an end as of the renewal date.

Please direct any questions to your usual NIG contact and for claims against policies underwritten by UKI please contact your usual claims representative.
