WTW has announced the appointment of Simon Delchar as Head of GB CRB Broking and Global Head of Portfolio Placements.
Simon Delchar will join WTW in 2024 and report to Alastair Swift, Head of Global Lines of Business and Hugo Wegbrans, Global Head of Broking.
Simon Delchar has extensive experience in international placement and was formerly the Head of Placement for UK and Ireland at Marsh McLennan from 2022 where he oversaw Marsh’s placement activities in UK and Ireland. Simon Delchar will focus on the broking activities in Great Britain and in addition, he will lead the global development of (industry focused) portfolio placement opportunities, that – amongst others - will arise out of the implementation of the WTW Broking Platform. He will be working closely with broking leadership around the world.
