Marsh appoints Giampaolo Scarso as International Client Advisory Services Leader and Charlie Netherton to lead Client Advisory Services in the UK and Ireland
Marsh has announced the appointment of Giampaolo Scarso to the newly created role of Client Advisory Services (CAS) Leader for its International division. Focussed on delivering strategic advisory services, CAS includes Marsh’s global risk consulting, analytics, captive management, and claims advocacy support.
Mr. Scarso joined Marsh in 2007 and has held a series of leadership roles over the last decade. Most recently, he was CAS Leader for the Continental Europe/Middle East/Africa (CEMEA) and Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC) regions. Based in Milan, Mr. Scarso reports to Michael Poulos, Global Head, Client Advisory Services.
Marsh also announced the appointment of Charlie Netherton as CAS Leader, UK & Ireland. Mr. Netherton joined the firm in 2016 to lead Marsh Risk Consulting (MRC) in the UK & Ireland. He will report to Mr. Scarso and to Chris Lay, CEO of Marsh UK & Ireland, and joins the UK & Ireland Executive Committee. Both appointments are effective immediately.
