Motorcycle experts Carole Nash team up with auction house Bonhams

Following the renewal of their agreement with Harley-Davidson a few weeks ago, the insurance company has announced its partnership with Bonhams Collectors’ Motorcycle Department.

Carole Nash – which provides cover for over 300,000 motorcycles including veteran, vintage, classic, modern, custom and off road motorcycles – will become the famed international auction house's recommended insurer as part of the deal.

The collaboration between Bonhams - one of the world’s oldest auction houses (founded in 1793) and award-winning Carole Nash insurers is a perfect fit, according to James Stensel, Head of Department, Collectors Motorcycles UK.

“Similar to the insurance market, the collectors’ motorcycle market is continually evolving. Customers are becoming increasingly discerning, demanding higher levels of service and quite rightly too when entrusting your prized machine for sale or insurance. Carole Nash and Bonhams share common values and we look forward to developing the relationship to the benefit of customers throughout 2017,” he said.

Carole Nash will have on-site presence at some of Bonhams' key auctions and events throughout 2017, whilst also appearing in their new partner's industry-leading catalogues as ‘recommended insurance partner’ and on their online and social media channels. On the other hand, Carole Nash will promote forthcoming auctions via their own communications platforms.

Ben Walker, Bonhams' Department Director for Collectors’ Motorcycles, said: "This is an exciting new relationship which brings together two popular premium British brands. Our auctions are one of a kind, but linking with an insurer of Carole Nash's calibre will definitely increase their appeal to bikers and strengthen the quality of the service we offer our customers."

Business Development Manager for Carole Nash, Mark Rzedzian, who engineered the deal, concluded: "We have been working with Ben and the Bonhams team for over a year and a half, and it's been a very positive involvement. Formalising our association therefore made perfect sense, also as they share our philosophy and values – they understand it's all about the customer. We're looking forward to achieving great things together in 2017."
