Green Insurance Group (Greens), the broker acquired by GRP to be its south-eastern hub in June last year, has entered into a strategic partnership agreement with AXA.  The agreement sees AXA take on the agency for Greens’ commercial combined and fleet business portfolios, as well as some contractors business.

Duncan Coleman, MD of Greens, confirmed the new agreement and said: “We are delighted to enter into a strategic partnership with AXA. Nick Watson’s team at AXA share our strong commitment to providing high quality products and services, including first class claims management, for our commercial clients.”

Nick Watson, director of commercial distribution at AXA, said: “This agreement helps cement our long-standing relationship with the team at Greens. Our respective businesses have worked well together over the years and I am pleased that we can continue to offer Greens access to AXA’s wide commercial proposition and all the benefits that brings to their strong client base.”

Mike Bruce, GRP’s CEO Broking, welcomed the agreement. “AXA’s support for Greens will bring added benefits to clients and we look forward to a long and fruitful partnership.”

Mr Bruce confirmed separately that a bespoke arrangement has been put in place with Allianz, to manage motor trade portfolios for Sagar, McGrady’s and Abbey Bond Lovis.
