Zurich appoints Drazen Jaksic as Head of Accident and Health Underwriting
Zurich Insurance Group (Zurich) has appointed Drazen Jaksic as the new Head of Accident & Health (A&H) Underwriting within its Commercial Insurance business, earlier this year. Mr. Jaksic is based in London and will help drive greater consistency and growth across the globe in Zurich’s global Accident & Health portfolio.
Zurich has previously stated its ambition to rebalance its Commercial Insurance portfolio with a focus on profitable growth in Specialty Lines.
Mr. Jaksic joins Zurich from Chubb where he held the position of Senior Vice President of Accident & Health, EMEA, and was responsible for setting and executing long and short-term business strategies across 20 markets in the region.
Sierra Signorelli, Chief Underwriting Officer, Commercial Insurance, said: “Zurich is committed to providing its customers with leading products and services to help them manage their employee risks. We already have strong expertise in A&H across the globe. Under Drazen’s leadership we will bring this together with a clearer focus and drive.”
