Lee Travis, Partnerships and Member Engagement Director for the CII said: “We are looking forward to joining forces with the FCA to host these Professional Focus CPD conferences. The Insurance Distribution Directive, which comes into force in October, requires brokers and employees of insurance companies that sell insurance to do at least 15 hours of training and CPD per year as well as other key changes. These conferences will provide members with details of this new legislation and will help them to understand what is required of them along with the opportunity for discussion around the most up-to-date developments in our sector.”
