The Chartered Insurance Institute (CII), the leading professional body for the global financial services profession, exists to promote higher standards of integrity, technical competence and business capability. With over 115,000 members in more than 150 countries, the CII is the world's largest professional body dedicated to insurance and financial services.
Our membership covers all disciplines within the insurance industry (claims, broking, underwriting), those working in the life and pensions sector, the mortgage advice market and financial advisers (under the Personal Finance Society brand).
Our Royal Charter requires us "to secure and justify the confidence of the public" in our members and in the insurance and financial services sector.
CII confirms moving date to new Lombard Street premises
The Chartered Insurance Institute has confirmed that it will be moving on Monday 17th September into its new office at that are located at:
21 Lombard Street, London, EC3V 9AH. Its customer service and support teams are unaffected and staff telephone numbers will remain the same.
The new office has a dedicated conference space for up to 50 people for events, as well as a welcoming area for visiting members called the Knowledge Lounge. The lounge will have a touch-down work space and members will have access to key resources including periodicals, reference books, and specialist databases.
Although the library at Aldermanbury is now closed while the print collections are being moved, the Knowledge Services’ online resource bank and the CII eLibrary, containing thousands of downloadable eBooks, journals, reports and other specialist resources remain available to members around the world via EBSCO Discovery. Enquiry/research, copy, and book loan services will resume on 1st October 2018.
The Insurance Institute of London and the Worshipful Company of Insurers will be moving with the CII into the new office space.
