The Chartered Insurance Institute (CII), the leading professional body for the global financial services profession, exists to promote higher standards of integrity, technical competence and business capability. With over 115,000 members in more than 150 countries, the CII is the world's largest professional body dedicated to insurance and financial services.
Our membership covers all disciplines within the insurance industry (claims, broking, underwriting), those working in the life and pensions sector, the mortgage advice market and financial advisers (under the Personal Finance Society brand).
Our Royal Charter requires us "to secure and justify the confidence of the public" in our members and in the insurance and financial services sector.
Chartered Insurance Institute launches CII radio
The Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) is launching a new podcast service for its members, CII Radio. The podcast service will feature new interviews and lively discussion with experts from the CII, its members and topical speakers from the wider world with a relevant message for the insurance profession.
To launch CII Radio, Season one features conversations on:
- The Gender Pay Gap
- The Senior Managers and Certification Regime
- Inclusive Recruitment
- Professional Standards
- The Insurance Distribution Directive
- Financial Inclusion
Michelle Worvell, Communications Director of the CII, said: “We want to communicate with our members in ways that suit them and CII Radio is one of the new channels we are using to do this. The podcasts are easy to download and access, so our members can listen on the go or at a time that’s convenient for them. We are really pleased with this first season and are already working on a second season.”
