SSP’s Intelligent Quotes Hub has whole of market connectivity
SSP is delighted to announce that their Intelligent Quotes Hub (IQH) solution now has proven integration paths to join with all other major UK software houses, allowing for whole of market connectivity. A benefit not yet realised by any other software provider in the industry.
IQH is a centralised product rating, pricing and quotation solution that delivers accurate quotes in real-time, making use of data from a variety of sources to optimise an insurers pricing. It provides the ability to apply underwriting criteria how they choose, and distribute rates instantly across all market channels. With SSP IQH, insurers can build flexible pricing rules that rewards loyal customers and monitors performance with real-time business intelligence, enabling you to be compliant where dual pricing is a concern.
Having already established proven integration paths an insurer needn’t worry about high implementation costs across their distribution channels, as this connectivity offers a simple delivery process, which has been tried and tested in the market.
Earlier in 2019, Zurich became the 5th Insurer to go live on SSP IQH. Throughout the work with Zurich, Legal & General and LV=, to name a few, SSP have been able to connect with all leading software houses and price comparison sites for motor and home policies.
Gareth McChesney, Underwriting Director for Personal Lines at Zurich UK said:
“The collaboration and delivery focus of both Zurich and SSP continues to enable us to deliver this essential capability to the marketplace.”
Not so long ago, Legal & General received the Insurance Technology/Digital Project Team of the Year – Enterprise Award in recognition of how SmartQuote has revolutionised the purchase of home insurance. The innovative digital solution is powered by SSP IQH and utilises the vast quantity of digital data available for an individual risk, generating an informed quote in 90 seconds with minimal customer input.
David Robertson, Director of Digital Transformation at Legal & General said:
“There is nothing like SmartQuote in the world, it is a completely unique proposition. It’s been enabled not just by the technology that SSP has helped us build and deliver, but also by the relationships we’ve got with the team there.”
Adrian Coupland, Customer and Marketing Managing Director at SSP’s said:
“SSP has over 35 years’ experience and the proven integration paths, allowing for a streamlined process and lower cost to roll out to new customers. Further to this, our IQH solution has the ability to handle large volumes of business, it is the ideal pricing and rating solution for the 1.1 million policies and hundreds of millions of quotes that large insurers generate each year. ”
