QBE Re appoints Head of Underwriting for Bermuda

QBE Re has appointed Andy Richardson as Head of Underwriting for Bermuda.

He joins from Aeolus Capital Management, Bermuda where he was Portfolio Manager and has experience in senior roles at Lancashire Insurance and Guy Carpenter.

In his new role, Andy will focus on supporting the development of QBE Re’s Bermuda platform as well as further strengthening the global property capability.  He will report to Tracey Gibbons, Head of QBE Re Bermuda and will take up the new role at the beginning of June subject to Bermuda immigration.
