Liberty Specialty Markets (LSM), part of Liberty Mutual Insurance Group, has announced the appointment of Zara Ismail to the role of Head of Business Development – Claims (London). She is based in London and takes up the role with immediate effect. “We are thrilled to announce Zara’s appointment. Her wealth of experience in business development and extensive knowledge of working with claims will help us to achieve our objectives and support our clients, brokers and the wider Lloyd‘s and London Market,” said Scott Kellers. “How a claims function relates to clients old and new can be a crucial differentiator for carriers, and we look forward to working with Zara to maintain and grow momentum in our claims business development strategy.”

Ismail was formerly Head of Insurance Business Development at the law firm, RPC. She has more than 15 years of experience in business development and client strategy in the legal and insurance sectors.
