IGI appoints Vickie Fox to London Marine team
International General Insurance Holdings Limited (IGI), the international specialist commercial insurer and reinsurer, has announced the appointment of Vickie Fox as Underwriter, Ports and Terminals, to strengthen the London Marine team.
In her role, Vickie will support IGI’s existing marine offering in the UK as the book of business continues to profitably grow. She will also be instrumental in developing a new bespoke Marine Trade product for IGI that will tie in Public Liability, Employees Liability and Property Damage to IGI’s existing offering. She will report into Mark Trevitt, Class Underwriter, Ports & Terminals and Marine Liabilities, and will be based in London.
Vickie has 17 years’ experience in the insurance industry both as a broker and underwriter, and she has developed an expertise in marine risk. She joins IGI from MS Amlin, where she helped create and develop the insurer’s marine trade offering. Before then, she was a broker with AJ Gallagher, where she helped to maintain and develop its marine exposures.
IGI’s Ports & Terminals business has seen profitable growth, increasing its existing Gross Written Premiums and new business on a year-on-year basis.
