Harbour Underwriting supports Insurance Charities Awareness Week 2022

Authored by Harbour Underwriting
The purpose of the week is to spread the word that the insurance industry has a dedicated charity providing help and support to those who work or used to work in the insurance industry and are now facing challenging circumstances.
From 20 June, we will be supporting Insurance Charities Awareness Week (#ICAW) to raise awareness of the charity’s work helping insurance people across the UK and Ireland in times of need.
The Insurance Charities is the only charity in the UK and Ireland solely supporting past and present employees in the insurance industry and their dependents who are experiencing hardship.
One of the Insurance Charities’ partners is our charity of the year, Alzheimer’s Society.
Insurance Charities has created a dedicated service to support anyone in the industry affected by dementia, whether directly or through a loved one.
The service is free and offers a range of dementia support by phone, online and face-to-face. You can find out more about this service here.
More information about The Insurance Charities can be found here. If you would like to help us towards our target of raising £10,000 for Alzheimer’s Society this year, you can do so via our Just Giving page HERE
