Harbour Underwriting MD Sharon Brown named as one of UK’s Elite Women 2022

Authored by Harbour Underwriting
Insurance Business UK invited insurance professionals from across the UK to nominate “exceptional female leaders’ for its fourth Elite Women list. Nominees had to have impacted the insurance industry in some way and demonstrated a clear passion for the profession.
The winners were recognised “not only for their standout professional performance and ongoing commitment to DE&I, volunteering and charity work but also their dedication to ultimately achieving full gender equity in the workplace”.
As well as celebrating the industry’s female leaders, the awards seek to “inspire other women to do their best”.
Sharon says: “I am thrilled to have been named as one of this year’s Elite Women alongside some of the industry’s most inspiring female leaders. The award highlights the great strides the industry is making towards equality, although there is still much work to be done in all areas of diversity, equality and inclusion.”
Joining Sharon as featured Elite Women 2022 are:
- Lisa Bartlett, President, UK & Ireland, Crawford & Company
- Maxine Goddard, Senior vice president, strategic distribution & development Sompo International
- Claire McDonald, Managing director, UK and Ireland, HDI Global SE
- Donna Scully, Director, Carpenters Group
- Kishan Mangat, Senior associate, DWF LLP
We wish all these outstanding leaders many congratulations on their achievement.
