Driverless Pod comes to Parliament – AXA drop-in session

AXA UK is hosting a drop-in session for MPs to see a British manufactured driverless Pod for the first time ever in Westminster.

As we fast approach the Government’s target for driverless cars to be on British roads by 2021 and the Automated and Electric Vehicles Bill passes through Parliament, we wanted to invite you to come and see the Pod.

Experts from both AXA and Westfield Technology Group, who manufacture the vehicles and are running the trials at Olympic Park London, will be on hand to answer any questions you might have about this new technology.

AXA has been heavily involved in the field of autonomous cars since 2014, recognising the positive societal impact the technology could have, and is currently part of five different trials across the country which are testing these vehicles ahead of their introduction.

This event has been kindly supported by the Chair of the APPG on Electric and Automated Vehicles, Rt Hon Dame Cheryl Gillan MP.

Date: Wednesday 20th June, 10.00 until 16.00

Location: Lawn opposite the Old Place Yard, Abingdon Street, Westminster, SW1P 3PA
